Counseling for parents

Perhaps you are adjusting to being a parent and are experiencing post partum issues. Perhaps you are exhausted and your child will not sleep. Maybe your toddler or teenager is challenging you in new ways and you do not know how to respond. Maybe you are frustrated with ineffective parenting techniques that result in everyone in the family feeling frustrated. Perhaps you want to parent your children differently than the way you were parented and could use some extra support. Perhaps you are overwhelmed with managing both work and home life. You are not alone! Getting support for yourself as a parent can be extremely beneficial not only for you, but for your entire family. Ann Mac works with parents on:

Family Therapy

All families experience times of growth and challenges. Maybe your family is adjusting to stressors such as the birth of a new sibling, a job or school change, parents divorcing, blending families, or the latest stressors related to  Covid-19.  Perhaps sibling rivalry or relationship issues between family members is stressful for the entire family unit.  Maybe you are having a hard time connecting with your teenager or child. If your family is going through a hard time, family therapy can be beneficial to help with communication, enhance relationships, and to resolve conflict.
